Network Engineering:     

  1. LAN - core, distribution, and access level route summarization, route redistribution, and VLAN/STP administration of EIGRP, some OSPF, RIP and static route network, ACLs, QOS configuration, design and implementation of VLSM subnetting;
  2. WLAN – multiple wireless controller configuration on meshed 802.11 a/b/g/n networks, 802.1x authentication, RF signal transmission attenuation;
  3. WAN - serial port configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting of private line, and “DIA” connections, OpteMan MAN ethernet, 45Mbit DS3, Multilink T1, T1, and ISDN, MPLS and VPLS services.
    I have configured firewall policies on five different vendor platforms, including DMZ, static NAT,  site-to-site VPN tunneling and BGP failover.
  • I have more than 25 years of experience troubleshooting network reachability, DNS, routing, switching, and firewall issues affecting end-users running Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Mac OS 7.5-X and multiple Linux distros; 10 years of experience administering various Windows servers, namely Exchange, and Active Directory Windows domain controllers, file servers and print servers.
